Friday, September 5, 2025 - 5pm, at the Clark Building, 14 State Street Bangor. In partnership with the Bangor First Friday Artwalk, Dignity First and Paths to Dignity will be hosting a gallery space during the September Bangor First Friday Art Walk to kick off the weekend of events. Stop in to see a collection of work by currently and formerly unhoused artists and grab a map to other locations throughout downtown where more artwork is being displayed. Saturday, September 6, 2025 - 12-3pm. Join Dignity First and Paths to Dignity as they partner with the Bangor Public Library to host tours of the Dignity First demo tiny home, learn more about the Paths to Dignity Concerto, showcase a variety of artwork and music and hear from passionate speakers. Activities will take place in front of the library (or in the atrium, depending on weather) to create various types of art together, enjoy music, and spend time building community together. Weaving, drawing, and painting will be part of what is available, with guest speakers and music artists presenting throughout the time. Saturday, September 6, 2025 - 5pm. Join Dignity First and Paths to Dignity at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor for a musical presentation with violinist Mitchell Newman, cellist Noreen Silver and pianist Phillip Silver. Following the performance will be a community meal and a panel discussion about our unsheltered neighbors' experiences. This presentation is in collaboration with Needlepoint Sanctuary and will include selections from composer Lucas Richman's violin concerto "Paths to Dignity."
